Finally, I have decided today to buy a domain. I just purchased this domain http://www.summerinblue.com at godaddy. This blog is still powered by blogger, the only the difference the blogspot is not there anymore. This migration is called custom domain in blogger that means the entire blog infrastructure are hosted to Google. We can use email addresses exactly as emailme@summerinblue.com. All of these are hosted by Google since they bought blogger.
Buy a domain for yourself now and migrate to custom domain. Easy to install, easy to use, no extra charge and no need buying of space. Only ten dollars per year, that's not bad, right?

Good decision in purchasing a domain. I've started blogging 2 years ago, but I only bought a domain last Christmas. So from PR3 to Pr0. Everything went backt o zero. Will be adding you to my list shortly. Thanks for the visit. See you around.

Ooh, so that means when I will buy my own domain everything starts back to zero? Hmm... I think I'll just make a new Wordpress blog and from there buy one. I really had plans of buying a domain with my blog http://myconsolingasylum.blogspot.com but I guess doing that will mean lesser traffic to my site as the links will no longer be the same. Am i right or what? But i have found there in Blogger that once you purchase a new domain for your old blog visitors will be redirected. I still have a lot to learn with these stuffs. anyway, i will link you up now.

I think this is what I need to do as well. I won't try to change my existing blog with PR to the new domain but I am thinking of starting one with my own domain but within Blogger. I am hopeless with wordpress.
About the link exchange, I don't mind but there is something wrong with blogger right now. I can't change/save my changes inside of dashboard. Not sure what is it. I can post and edit post but I can't change the page element to add or delete stuff. :(

Hello Summer.. Yes, andito ako sa US. Im using custom domain. Pero kapag nilagay ko ung domain na nabili ko, nagdidirect sya sa "This page is parked free, courtesy of GoDaddy.com.".. Kelangan ko pa ba hintayin ma-register ung domain sa godaddy. O automatic na register na un? Thank you.

julie ann, go to your blogspot dashboeard>setttings>publishing then go to advanced settings. enter your custom domain name.
