To help ease the effects of global warming, many countries in the world have joined the Earth Hour Campaign. This they do by turning off their lights for one hour. Earth Hour encourages governments, companies and homeowners to switch-off power to not so important appliances for one hour. By working together, people in this world will make a difference by consuming less energy, thereby producing fewer greenhouse gas emissions.
