For Friendship And For Kababayan's Sake Filipinos in every state in America group together whenever they can to unite as kabayans in a foreign land. They meet on occasions such as Christmas, birthdays and small gatherings. My brother has a small group of Filipino friends. His longtime friend hated the characteristics of fellow Filipino friends that of being late in appointments and even the "kabaduyan" of his Filipino friend. He abandoned the group. One day he realized he was lonely and had no more friends. He called one friend and asked forgiveness. He invited back his Filipino friends for a potluck dinner get-together in his house to mend back his friendship with his Filipino friends once again.
