Carabao or Water buffalo

Carabao or water buffalo is the farmer’s best friend. Despite the technology carabao is still use to till or pull the plow guided by the farmer. On the third week of May - Nueva Ecija, pays tribute to kalabaw during the feast day of San Isidro . In preparation, the farmers will decorate their carabao’s with colorful materials and sometimes they paint them after which they will march towards the church.
