Maglalatik Dance

One Philippine dance I find “exciting” is the Maglalatik dance. Every joint in your body is attached with hard like shell called “bagul” or coconut husk like shells or “castanets.” The baguls are attached to the body joints by pair two in your back, chests, butts, and another two pairs on your knees and you dance with the tune of the music from the same dance title, Maglalatik. While dancing, the castanets that are attached in the body will be touched giving it a bamboo breaking sound. That’s the exciting part of it.
