Chicken Feet

I think this is funny, my previous post was all about chicken bones. This time, it’s all about chicken feet..weird me, he-he.

Do you eat chicken feet? It may sound gross because they walk in their own poo with those feet, right? But they are actually quite tasty. My mom used to have a small store, she sells liquor and beer. Everytime someone will drink some beer in our store, my mom prepared a chicken feet “adobo” for them and it’s for free. They love it!

I don’t like my mom’s chicken feet cooking because they are rough. But the one at Madarin Restaurant, oh boy, they are so tasty, smooth and delicious. I usually dip them in chili sauce or other dip then suck chicken feet, get those all skin and sluuurp it in my mouth. Maybe you should try it too. He-he…

True Friend

I got this award from Cecil. An award called "It feels so great to have a friend like you."

For me, the meaning of friend is always apologize he or she was wrong. A friend will take up for you weather right or wrong when it's you against the world. A friend will love you unconditional. A true friend will give you their last if you need it. A real friend is there when you need them through good times and bad. You can always call or stop by a real friend's place to talk and cry on their shoulders.

Chicken Bones

I do like to chew them if they were boiled for a long time, because they’re soft and chewy, I really like the edges. Hubby laugh at me or tease me, he said I am not a dog and the bones can split and get stuck in the throat. So I told him, don’t worry, next time I will make a smoothie drink and throw a couple of chicken wings or bones in the blender with the drink.

I think this is funny to share. How about you, do you like to eat chicken bones?

King of Fruits

Durian fruit is the worst smelling fruit in the world. Why some other people say durians are stinking fruit? Some do not care of this fruit because it makes them throw up of the smell. Wow, can you imagine that, they say, it smells like garbage.

Whew, come on…it’s my favorite Asian fruit. Yeah, it’s the smelliest and nasty fruit on earth but it taste like heaven for me. I know all about this fruit, it’s rich & high in cholesterol but who cares, it’s yummy! Hmmm... *wink*

Movies for Kids

We, parents have different style of teaching our children. My daughter learns a lot of things from TV shows for kids, movies and computer. But as a mom, it is my job to make sure the movies my daughter watch are appropriate. So, I was looking through at my daughter’s DVD collection, sorting and looking if I can find something appropriate for her age. I found something that she might like it.

It’s an animal cartoon movie. The pictures are good and clear. I would say, this movie is an educational because you can see different kinds of animal character. We watched it together, laughed and we were enjoying it. By my surprised, one of the character said, Sugar, Honey Iced Tea. If you will put them together all the initial letters, you find out the word that they are trying to say.

I don t rely on the standard movie rating system. I realized, before we allow our children to watch movies at home, we have to be careful what they are watching.

I Love Chips Mommy

Yup, my daughter loves chips. I don’t know what to do, she won’t eat unless there is a chips on her side. She is three years old and very picky when it comes to foods. Gee, I don’t know why they bother to advertise these chips on the television, that’s where my daughter got it from the commercial. I don’t know why my daughter loves these chips. It’s similar amount of garlic flavor, too much ginger, then a bit of lemon that reminds me of chippy in the Philippines.

Blog Traffic

At last I have done roaming around the blogosphere for exchange links. After three days, I have collected 232 bloggers in my list. This is the hard part if your blog is newly opened; you need to look someone will link to your site too. My main purpose is I want this blog to monetize in the future. Having a good pagerank, alexa and technorati are very important these days. If I am not busy, I will visit your blog once in a while and hopefully, you will hit me back too, *wink*. The more visitors you have, the better traffic you can gain. Let us raise our banner and do this campaign of "Hit Me Back".

This blog is still powered by blogger, the only the difference the blogspot is not there anymore. This migration is called custom domain in blogger that means the entire blog infrastructure are hosted to Google. We can use email addresses exactly as emailme@summerinblue.com. All of these are hosted by Google since they bought blogger.

Buy a domain for yourself now and migrate to custom domain. Easy to install, easy to use, no extra charge and no need buying of space. Only ten dollars per year, that's not bad, right?

This year looks like its pretty exciting and more challenge in my life in particular, I started earning money in my other blog. I am happy to announce that I have six blogs and all of them are in domain.
