Easter Sunday Celebration

For Christians, Easter Sunday culminates the Holy Week as it is the day that Lord Jesus Christ is risen from the dead. It is the day that Christians rejoice for He has resurrected. The day usually starts with the so-called “Salubong” where the Christ meets His Mother for the first time after resurrection, then followed by a Holy Mass. It is also a time when families gather and spend the day in the beach. Abundant foods are prepared after the successive days of fasting.
